Restoring wood pieces back to their prime is a journey that awakens the senses; you begin with a piece that has had little or no care and end with a piece that has been brought to life.
The journey starts with the EYES, with an image of the end product that drives the entire process. It involves a fine TOUCH, where the wood seduces with its history and texture.
You then mix-in the sense of SMELL, inhaling the wood and allowing its odor to be involved with the materials you use as you re-create the piece’s history.
You follow the clues the wood gives; following its grain. You create details, LISTENING to what the piece (and the client!) are telling us. And suddenly, the journey is over, with a TASTE of victory!
